i was selling one. but sold a chrome one for sweet cash considering what i actually paid for it

yea i dont think ill be able to pound this one out, but it did a heck of a job guarding what its supposed to, superlift bracket not so much but after taking it off i dont like leaving it open unprotected.

Did you have a Superlift one before? It'd be simple to make one the same style but heavier!
|
no it was a stock one, seemed pretty thick but it folded like a cheap deck of cards.

haha thats how mine was, i got air when i drove to the dunes and landed really hard and bent it, had almost a 90* bend in it but i hammered it out. map gas and a big hammer, back in shape lol

You should just make one like the Superlift one if you don't want to buy it... pretty simple to make and you can make it whatever thickness you want!
|
is there any write ups on making one? not sure how to get the holes and everything lined up.
|
It would be quite easy to make. Find someone with a metal brake, get it bent up and drill your holes.
|
It wouldn't be hard... there is already holes in the Superlift brackets so just measure them. The actual Superlift skid plate has slots in them.
I have the stainless Superlift one. I can take a pic of it later this weekend if you want... you'll see how simple it is! |
