He said he ALWAYS has, so I take it as he has since the day he bought his truck. If he has a tuner with a 93 tune I'm sure he would have said something.

And no, that would be Takeda and not me. Look at my avatar, my truck isn't stock...

Between empty and 1/4 in my car with 93 premium, it was only $23.78! Woo!

ya $1.77 here. stop running 93 octane in your rangers unless you have your pcm tuned or have some kind of forced induction or engine swap! your just wasting your money otherwise

There are HP tunes that focus on the Numbers and the top end of the tune and there are TQ tunes that dont focus on the HP and focus more on the low-mid range of the tune. I honestly doubt that I am gettting the quoted numbers from any particular website for increases. I do however feel the diffrence in the driving between stock tune and the 93 tq tune. Infact there are sugnificant diffrences in the 87hp tune and the 93 tq tune. AND i easily get 26 to 27 miles a gallon with my tune and aftermarket parts. I occationally get 28+ MPG. Stock was closer to 20-22.

Additionally there are othere aspects of the tuner that can me changed to aid in outright numbers or mileage but you must run the fuel its programmed to run.

I dont see anything on your truck that tells me that its not a stock vehicle besides the wheels and possiably the vent visors. If its as modified as you seam to think it is then you of all people should know that some people have to run higher than 87 octane fuels.

You guys are all happy about the gas prices. That's fine and dandy.

But it's not a good thing. Maybe it's relieving a little stress in your pockets, but just look at the rest of the economy.

IMO, gas prices aren't going to stay this low for that much longer. Sure, it may go a little lower, but it's going up soon.

Also, remember when they said the gas prices were why other prices went up (IE: Food)? Have you seen those prices go down? HELL NO! They've gone up even.

It's not so much that, but the fact our fuel and a HUGE portion of the US' oil/gas is drilled here in Canada . . . yet somehow, we pay more

What a world.

EDIT - While they pay ~$2.00/gal ($0.53/L), we pay $3.33/gal ($0.889/L) to be exact.
