always shifting out of overdrive

always shifting out of overdrive
I have a 2001 xlt 3.0 4x4 with 4.10 gears, I have just put on 32x11.5x15's and on the highway it wants to keep shifting out of overdrive. Can I solve this with a bama chip or something? I'm not looking for performance or torque just enough to keep it in overdrive. Thanks

Assuming that everything is is good working order.. yes a tune can be made to not shift out of OD so easily. Sounds like you might want them to keep the TQ convertor locked up longer too.
If there is a way (scanguage) that you can look at the "load" right at the point it wants to shift out of OD. That will help you know for sure everything is normal. It'll also give your tuner of choice a clue as to your specific needs.
