Help: Stupid Mud Flaps

Ok I have always hated the flaps on my truck. Is there anyway to take them off now and be able to put them on later (like when my parents make me when they actually notice in like 3 months)? I got a 2001 4x4 XLT if that makes a difference.

There are a couple of bolts, undo them, mudflaps will come off.

Just a push pin, I think there are 3 bolts, make sure you got all 3, and give her a yank

it shouldn't and if it does then just trash the mudflaps or get new pins.

I think he is right there are three bolts or screws and then those plastic pins. undo the bolts and then take a pair of pliers and grab the head of the plastic pin and try to pull it out if that doesn't work then just try to cut the pins off they are only like 50 cents a piece. I took mine off a month or two ago i was tired of them getting hung up and dragging.

I love my mud flaps. I added some to the front, they protect the paint.

LMAO your parents sounds like mine. It took about 2 months before they noticed I took the step bars off.
