Speed Sensor Recalibrator

I was looking to get the Truspeed Speed Sensor Recalibrator from SUPERLIFT. I was wonder if anybody has gotten it and if they like it. I have changed my tires from the factory 29 inch to a 31 inch now... and in the near future I want to get some 33's.

i wouldnt waste my money on that..
just get a bama tuner.

x2 on the bamatuner. worth its weight in gold, at least for me.

What the difference between the jet chip and bamatuner?

I have the truspeed calibrator just because I got a really good deal on it. It works just like its advertised. I don't think its worth the price, a tuner would be better because you could do so many different things with it. Plus installing mine was a PITA because the instructions were incorrect for a 2000 with only RABS. The speed sensor wire is difficult to find.

waste, either get the bama or just go a few mph under the speedlimit.. with my upgrade from 27 to 30, mines only off by 1mph at 55

are you sure? cause i went from what was technically 27.4 to 31 and i am off by a multiplier of about 1.13, so at 55 i am going about 62... and at 62 i am going about 70...

I've been running on the Superlift TrueSpeed unit for a few months now and it hasn't given me any problems... I would have liked to go with the bama tuner because of it's simple plug and play feature, but Doug doesn't make a tuner for my year/engine combination so I really had no choice.

The unit isn't hard to install (haha, Jeff) and it takes just a few minutes and a co-pilot to get it set just right. Worth the $200 off SimmitRacing...? yes and no... way overpriced... but now I know my mileage is correct
