Yes it is. The only Ranger that had a trim name with 3 letters and that started with a S is the STX and it was not available in 04.

They should just list all model names so they can't get it wrong.

How old is that advert? My uncle bought a truck from Pennsylvania a while back that had been rolled that was EXACTLY like that, i would swear its the same truck. Its an 04 5-speed 2 door extended cab 4x4 with tan interior, no power options and those really dumb stickers on the bed. A base XLT that someone made special with stickers.

The sst as far as I know is just a package option that has a chrome 2wd bumber and a fogless valance and no jump seats just the extra cubby holes.
A guy I work with has one and Scott from Buffalo has one.

sst is a dodge truck package. my friend has a black one w/ silver stripes. and theres a red one w/ white stripes in town. its actually SS/T meaning super sport truck. its got the 5.9 360 ci v8, 2wd, sport package. this was a package in the 90's (his is a 97). they still make it, just a different name. they now use RT for the v8 (was 5.9 but newer ones i think have the hemi) and the SRT-10 for the V10 viper and truck and SRT-8 for the new charger, challenger, 300C, magnum. theres also the rumble bee truck. its pretty much an RT but w/ a black w/ yellow stripes OR yellow w/ black stripes w/ the rumble bee decals wrapped around the bed near the tailgate. has either the 5.9 or 5.7. the SRT8 in the cars has the 6.1 or 6.2 liter hemi. theres also the srt-4 neon but dno nething bout it besides the fact its a fast(er) POS neon w/ a sportier look.
