Isnt the inside length the same? fleetside vs. stepside? It's only the inside width that's differnet as far as i know.
yeah like buddy said, i can go diagnol in a fleetside and close the tailgate with a bike. its crazy how much room you loose with the stepside

Aren't then fenderwells the same size? I am not sure and I am probably wrong. I have had both a stepside and a fleetside....stepside is much sexier.

I'm TRYING to find someone to take my damn black stepside off my hands in exchange for a fleetside. I always hear on the streets a bout how everyone loves a stepside, then you try to trade your flawless black stepside for a flawless black styleside and it's like... impossible.

I'm no help 'cause I plan on putting a stepside on my truck somewhere down the road.... I don't haul stuff nearly enough to override my love for the look of the stepside... Take a look around here at some of the trucks and see if you feel strongly about one or the other... WELCOME!

Since the stepside and reg. are interchangable, will they fit an older model? I have a '91 ranger with the 6' bed and want a stepside. will it fit?
