hello i have a stock 4 cyl ford ranger that im trying to convert to a V6 for more power and more fun basically does anyone know what i would have to do to accomplish this? and all i wuld have to buy to install a turbo also?

The parts list is the same, since you didn't list what year you have I cant suggest anything beyond a concept.

 

A few have upgraded from the 4 to a 5. But be agvised, if you truck is newer than an 03, you may essentially make your truck illegal to drive in your state due to emissions

 

my buddies 5.0 supercharged 96 ranger gets like 24mpg highway surprisingly.

 

this is an 2000 ranger. im now looking at more of a just a nice torbo set up but what should i upgrade so im not loosing a lil power with the turbo. or possibly would i by doing this?

 

Just swap a 5.0. Much easier. More than enough power and plenty of support. I did it to my 04. Very simple. Check out my thread. Even easier on a 2000.
