Although...I did try for a 4.0 first. There were no single cab long beds available. It would have to be ordered. If not delivered by Jan 2 I would risk the $2500 rebates that are in effect now.
just curious- anyone else have a long bed?

yeah. Typically the 4.0 is extended cab only. They offered the long bed single cab option as a fleet vehicle starting in 2006 or 2007. That would be a sweet ride for sure. That one has to be ordered and would probably not get here in time for the rebates. He found a whopping 7 3.0's at dealers in a longbed. Still a rare bird.

They should be like mine but a shorter head rest. The ones I've seen here look odd, but they have to be more functional than mine. I cannot see behind me. Terrible design imo.
I haven't seen the truck. We walked through the options i wanted- rubber floor, long bed, 3.0 or 4.0, white, automatic. Thats about it. No power windows but it did have cruise control.
You know what the logo looks like. The white truck is a must for it to work right.

Taillights would look good on my truck. lol.
Keep in mind this is a work truck, making deliveries every day. Plans:
Decals for the business- meeting with my decal guy tomorrow. Should have them on in a week.
Herculine the bed and go over the rail (or have the pros do it)
Fabricate a bed box that is full width x 4-5 ft deep. I'm gonna try this instead of tonneau cover. If my installer has to switch trucks I hope he can fork his box onto another truck in about 5 minutes. This will be interesting if I can pull it off.
Install a tow hitch.
