I have a 2002 Ranger that was involved in a crash of the right front fender, which caused the driver side air bag to deploy. Repairs have been completed, including replacing the driver side airbag, seat belt retainer (latches) for both the driver and passanger and airbag module. When the vehicle is started, the air bag light in the dash comes on and goes off indicating the system is functioning as it should.

The problem is the seat belt light on the dash does not light nor does the chime sound. I have tried to activate the light and chime using the information described in the owners manual, but this did not work.
