I have a sun roof in my truck and i LOVE it. I want to sell mine for a 4x4 but the sun roof is my only regret of doing that. There is nothing like cracking the sun roof on a 80 degree day.

lol.. i guess i could update my findings, since i created this thread like last july.. umm.. i ended up finding a sunroof i liked, but.. to buy it and have it installed was like 800 something.. i think, dont remember exactly.. so, i kinda held off on it.. then, kinda forgot about it, as fall set in, and the summer rolled out. then i ended up getting new tires.. then.. i dunno.. somethin for my speakers probably, lol. now that spring is coming, i may once again try to attempt having one put in.

This is something I would love for my truck... I have never seen anyone with a spoiler type on a regular cab, so I dont know if it can be done. The only ones I have seen on regular cabs are the ones that can be pushed up or completely taken out...

Ill be getting one put in in 2 months...went to an auto place lookn for lights and saw a sunroof being put into a ranger splash..it looked tight..i was gonna set up an appointment to have it done. i think they have improved from the old ones that used to leak...for a manual one it cost 385 at the place and that includes installation

So Infalfa and Webasto are powered right, It doesn't look kool if you have to manually move it. One touch roofs are the best tho. Our old Thunderbird had one, so my ranger must have one, and my girlfriend has never been in a car/truck with one.

Yeah, I thought only Christian did that

Make sure you get a good sunroof installed by a reputable company. My last experiance with them left a bad taste. You do have to cut the supports in the Ranger, and the roof material is pretty thin and curved. A bad shop can make a mess of the install.

ive been contemplating this for several months now..i wanted to put one in the neon i had and was told about 400 for an internal moonroof but i imagine on a truck it would be a bit more difficult so thats why theres an increase in price. i have an ext cab and am going to do some calling around tomarrow for some prices on some different setups and ill post my findings.
