Superlift Driveshafts 9636 Question

Can I install this without the superlift 4" kit.

I read one review from amazon
"Installed this in my truck and within three months one of the u-joints failed and cracked my transfer case. Wouldn't recommend this to anybody."

and I read another review from Summit Racing
"Excellent quality driveshaft. Installed on my 06 Ranger without a lift kit to replace my stock driveshaft. No more worn out CV joints."

Can anyone who knows if this is possible chime in and save me some time Id sure appreciate it. thanks

Im getting conflicting information and there is little out there besides here. Thank you all

fyi i have stock 2" factory blocks 2002 ranger edge 4x4 stepside. I had originally thought it would be too long but after seeing someone post they used it without lift kit i became curious if it is possible without damage. Could it be I would need at least another 2" of lift to keep it from braking the transfer case if it is in fact too long? this way i could crank t bar until i get 4" lift installed?
