Swaping out mirrors...

Im looking into getting rid of my current mirrors, and get more solid mirrors.

i have these currently, im sure most do. but im wanting to get something more solid for my truck, like these

the reason i want to do this is because im tired of adjusting them when i go to a car wash or some dumbass bumps into them in a parking lot or something. i want to be able to maybe fold in my mirrors and all, and not mess up the angling for my driving.
my question is, do any rangers have solid mirrors? which would be compatible with a 99 xlt? would it look good, or make it look weird?will i run into any problems?
sorry for the noob questions, i suck with compatibility with the years and all.
thanks for reading

the second picture is a ranger mirror. you can easily mount a set of those on your truck. they come in either a manual or electric, obviously the manual ones would be what you would want.

Ya, I got the mirrors from the second pic. Non-power. Should be an easy swap. Just grab some at the junkyard

the boxy 08's style don't fold all the way in. it's useless at the carwash. i go to the diy carwashes anyways. the auto ones seem to damage the paint.

Yeh the ones in the second pic will bolt in. Find a ranger in the junkyard with manual mirrors like that and they will bolt right on.
