Ventshades screw with the rubber trim around the windows? I had a driver side window replaced twice and both times I have had a problem with air leaking at the top left of the window. Safelite told me that the vent shades are causing the moulding to not seat right.

Anyone heard of this? Thanks!

 

Yes, it's a common issue.

 

I was unaware of this. Since the moulding is leaking, is it too late to remove the vent shade to keep the problem from progressing? Or am I needing to replace the moulding now?
