thinking about picking this 3rd gen up

If that's a 94 why does the picture of the engine show a 98-01 2.5L lol

I can't comprehend why anyone would swap a 2.5L into a 2.3L truck....

maybe the original one blew...who knows lol...im gonna go look at it and see if its even worth ...im kind of a newb when it comes to the 2.3/2.5 lima motors...thought they looked the same

The 2.3L is run off a single coil pack, 2.5Ls have 2 because we think we are V8s and require 8 spark plugs.

Very odd for a 94 to have one.

like i said earlier...maybe the 2.3 blew up and they put a 2.5 in...same motor more or less

Lol. Kevin is right, That engines been replaced. Might want to see what else has been replaced before you commit. could be diving into more problems than you want.

my brother is selling his ranger. its a 94 with 9 inches of lift needs some work though. body is in great shape i think it has one dent. it might be on craigslist.

That sucks that it's gone.

I just missed out on a good deal as well. The place I used to work at finally let go of their two '06 Rangers that were delivery vehicles. One went for $500 and the other one for $300! Just a few days too late...

@ FULLSCALE 06's that cheap, damn milage must have been a killer, I'd pay that for a 06 without a motor. lol
