thinking about selling the ranger.....
 

thinking abut selling the ranger for a mazda rx-8 or nissian 350-z. i basiclly wnt a fast sporty looking car for cheep. but anyways how much do you think i could get for my truck. it an 03 4x4 with intake and dual exsaust. 33's with lack rims. new mesh grille navigation system. torsions are cranked and the front headlights are blacke out on the inside and the back ones are nightshaded along with the cornet lights. would it be better to undo the nightshade t get a better price to a dealership??? it has no scratches at all besides one big mistake.... i got keyed on my driver side door and its about a foot long. what do i do? heres some pics any help would be great. ...... o ya 76000 miles on her.

Honestly, you will not get any more for "mods" on your truck- dealerships do not want modded vehicles due to them being harder to sell.. IMO stray away from the RX8, weenie power with V8 gas mileage.. 350Z, eh so so- Better cars to be had for "fast, sporty, and cheap" and RX8/350Z don't fit that bill IMO. Sounds like you're looking for a Mustang GT- quick, easy/cheap to mod, cheap to buy, decent gas mileage, V8 sound.

Mustang GT ftw! high teens will get you a 05+ GT!!

I'm seeing 05 gt's for around 15k here. You can also find 04-05 350z's for about the same here as well as rx-8's. All run about the same price.

Since when are 265x75's 33's? Last I checked they were a bit bigger then 31's.

You might get 11k out of it

i paid 12k for my truck 1 year ago its pretty identical to yours had 72k on it, Minus all the mods

good luck getting 11 out of it seems a bit high to me....


also your missing your 3rd brake light

Honda S2000, street legal go cart, pure car no bs, 9k vtec glory, 240hp of Honda precision engineering. Go drive an rx or a 350 then go drive an s2000 even if your against convertibles and see which car was the most fun

rx8 is hard to beat IMO 11,000 rpm redline, light, fun, but also rotary. They are very reliable as long as you baby them. I have ha 3 rx7s and each one either blew apex seals or the cooland seals go bad. Look to have a rebuild every 100,000 miles with a rotary. I would look else where besides rotary.

I really like the 350z 3.5L v6 they are zippy little cars. Very light and very fast the mustang gt is nice to but power to weight ratio the 350z will win every time. Esp if you add in some bolt ons. you will get the gt for a better deal though most likely

I think if your going to sell it first step is try to put it back to stock as much as possible. Get rid of the tail lights and front corners for non nightshaded ones. Get a 3rd brake light, Clean the entire truck top to bottom.

That is correct. A 'non-modded' truck will go for more..

i say put all stock stuff back on and part it out...i traded my 04 in with night shaded tails with no prob, but i did leave the reverse light unnightshaded
