it depends on the professional. it took about an hour and a half to do my hellas, but the end result was amazing: unless someone pointed out the wiring, you literally cannot see it. he put wire loom around it and ran it along the exsiting wires in the engine compartment and installed the relay(s) under the dash. when i asked why he didn't put them in the engine area, he said "they could get wet there, this way, they are safe and dry all te time"

thanks for the posts... in regards to installing them myself i honestly wouldnt even know where to start. I have never seen these kinda lights wired and wouldnt even know where to begin. I would also like to have the lights wired up for the weekend for i mite be making a trip up north to the cottage and would love to test them on the back roads.
Well if I get off work early enuff tomorrow I think I can have them done for me. I was asking for a general time frame this way I can feel good about not being taken advantage of or something. Thanks for the help.

qiring them is the easy part, its aiming them that i found to be the most aggrevating and time consuming. loosen tighten loosen tightn, turn em off when cars approach, and when your playing with the bolt trying the tightn or loosin u go blind so u cant see anything to aim them, ugh! their a pain to aim, but once their aimed properly, their amazing!
Oh and i put my relay with in 6inches of the battery next to the radiator
