ticking in 97 ranger w 4.0

I have a ticking sound in my 4.0 eng sounds like lifter but previous owner said had replaced rocker arm assembly all lifters timing chain and gears timing chain tensioners they checked the valve springs and keepers the owner before me bought the truck with this noise drove it while doing the above repairs some 2000 miles and I have driven it another 2000 =3000miles holds great oil pressure HELP HELP Steve

Just keep on driving it tons of em sound like that its just the lifters. Try some seafoam in the oil according to the can and then when you change the oil use a 5w30 so it can flow up to the heads better. You have a 16 year old truck some noises are normal.
