yeah, a few weeks ago I ran Table Mesa East into Cave Creek. Over 20 miles of some really scenic country. My buddy made it in his 08 Sport 2wd but it was rough. Usually it's 4x4 required but some of the obstacles got washed away with the rains and also somebody took a grader and knocked down some of the big rocks. They run cattle back there so it probably got too rough.

maybe its just me but does anyone else find pictures of trucks that are "dirty" and just sitting there dumb? If its not "actively" wheeling whats the point of taking pictures of it in your driveway with some "mud" on it?

Maybe because they're too busy wheeling and having fun they forget to take pictures or just don't want to stop and take pics. Then when they get home or off the trail they have time to relax and take pics.

I've always been afraid to go any farther than the gate to that ranch down there. I thought it was private property or something. Usually after I go shooting N. of Black Canyon City, I stop by that mudhole to see if there is anything worth splashing through :) It's interesting to know that it goes throught to Cave Creek. Maybe I'll try it one of these days.

It's state trust land. You must obtain a state trust permit to access the land. About 5(rough guess) miles back it turns into the Tonto National Forest. It's not a straight shot to Cave Creek but if you make the right turns you'll end up there. It'll take you approximately 5 hours to complete the trail, it depends on how fast you go and how many picture breaks and stops you make. I wouldn't go alone especailly with you being 2wd.

It has been dirtier...all this mud is just from trying to get out of a mx track after a mud fest race.
