Tire choice for 3 Inch body lift
 
Hello Everyone.
I am going to be installing a 3 inch body lift in 2 months and am looking for some help on deciding what size tire I should buy.
Here is the dilemma:
I have a 2 inch leveling kit on the ranger, and it will fit up to 33 12.5 15's RIGHT NOW. (I ran them for 2 months with no problems.) But my gearing is 3.73. I'm not going to re gear because that costs too much, nor will I swap the axles. I have a 3.0L V6 Automatic.
I have heard that running 33 12.5's hurts the trans/powerband etc, so I looked into the 32 11.5's, and like them. While doing this, a friend recommended I use 33 10.5 because it won't hurt the trans/powerband etc. I know that the 33 12.5 will look the best, but heard that its not a good idea without re gearing. I don't know if I like the look of 33 10.5. 32 11.5 just seems the best idea, but is there really a big difference performance wise between the 33 12.5 and 32 11.5?
SO, with the combination of looking good while not hurting the truck too bad, should I go with 33 12.5, 32 11.5, or 33 10.5 for a 3 inch body lift.
I will be buying the Bfgoodrich all terrains.
