Tirepackage.com....need feedback

Before I order my tires I have been looking for the best deal.

This site was the cheapest. It was about $55 cheaper then summit shipped to my door. But Wondered how they where on shipping? I know summit is great and ussually gets my stuff out with a day or 2.

I bought my old 33's from them, and to tell you the truth i would never buy from them again, they took forever to ship and there customer service line is terrible, EVERY time i called it was busy, and thats not even an exageration, it took me a 2 days of non stop calling just to get connected and then i was on hold for an hour.. they do have great prices though, so what i did with my 35's was called up 4wheelparts.com and got them to do a price match from tirepackage, they matched the to your door price, like with shipping and all that, and they were great. so id recomend getting them or summit to do a price match instead of buying from tirepackage..

btw what tires are you getting?

JoshK 06-11-2007 12:03 AM

I am thinking of the BFG MT. Its only $50 more at summit shipped. So It sounds like it may just go with them to keep from the hassle.

Same stuff happends in the ATV parts world. Its almost easier to just stick with known companies

never bought from them, but it seems like there price is pretty good.
what tires are you getting?

price matching wasnt really a hassle, just ordered on the phone instead of the computer..

Guess I am more worried about the shipping part then the accually ordering. I will order online, just want my damn tires with a couple weeks.

i think they sent mine out the next day or day after, ur order will still go through in the same amount of time, they just put it through with a better price.

JoshK 06-11-2007 12:35 AM

ok I miss understood ya then. I though you ment after you order it, they tok for ever to send your tires out.

I have problems with smaller companys sometimes for quad parts. Seems if you get stuff really cheap they take forever to send them out

I bought my wheels and tires from there, MT Classic II's with BFG's. They had my tires mounted, balanced, and shipped to my door by freight on an eighteen wheeler strapped to a pallet in 5 days. I had awesome luck with them, they were by FAR the cheapest and Summit wouldn't match their price with the mounting, balancing and lifetime warranty. I have had to call their customer service once, I also had no problem getting through the first time. I had something puncture one of my BFG's about 6 months after I got them. I sent my receipt from where I had the tire plugged, and they sent me a check for 10 bucks to reimburse me. I have found NO ONE who beats them so far, and they will receive my business again!

Redneckstone 06-11-2007 08:43 AM

i would go with summit... the only reason i got my new 33's from 4wheelparts is i had a gift card from christmas and they had free shipping

Silver 06-11-2007 05:48 PM

i checked all of them and my local guy was 10 bucks more installed
so i went with him plus i like spending money at home than out of state
but i did check out there package deals and they where not bad at all

JoshK 06-11-2007 06:58 PM

Thanks for all the help. I am not sure when I will buy them. I am also going to check locally just to see what there prices are as well.
