33/10.5

brianjwilson 04-01-2009 03:13 PM

With stock wheels?
If 15's --> 31x10.50, 33x10.50, possibly 32x11.50 (though the 32's might work better with a 15x8?)
If 16's --> 265/75/16.

I plan on getting some Dick Cepek Dc-1 Unsure of the size yet.

Go to the wheels/tires forum and the Sticky at the top of the page has all the info you could want.

mikerider 04-01-2009 03:18 PM

first off welcome to the forum. the search feature at the top of the page will be your best friend. as for your question if you looked in the wheel and tire sub forum the first thread is a sticky with the max tire sizes, it is also a topic that is covered very often hense why we like it when people search.

heres the link to the thread on tire size.

If you plan on lifting in the future, I would probably go with an 8" wide wheel. If not, probably stick with 7" wide depending on the tire size you decide to run.
Do not go wider than 8" with no lift.

Also, they should really take out the 33x12.50's in that list for stock trucks. Blah.

BisketFx4 04-01-2009 09:38 PM

Black

BisketFx4 04-01-2009 10:44 PM

I've decided to get the dc-1 black rims but i Don't know what size rim an tire combo to get??

brianjwilson 04-01-2009 11:41 PM

15x8 and 32x11.50's maybe. They will look okay with the body lift too, until you upgrade to 33's.

15's are cheaper than 16's too. That is one thing that I kicked myself on getting. Even though they look better.

TrePaul86 04-02-2009 12:33 AM

Eh... Couple extra bux a tire... no biggie.

jaycheetwood 04-02-2009 01:38 AM

I run 33x12.5s on R15s on my alcoas.. til i get my new rims in. and my truck is a stock 2003 FX4 lvlII

FordX4Ranger 04-02-2009 01:58 AM

couple exra bucks?? i paid 800 for my 32s and 15 x8 wheels whereas 265s for my stock 16s would have cost 1200. both tire prices were for goodyear mtr

but onto the question.... 32s and a 1 inch body lift looks good.

BisketFx4 04-02-2009 02:45 AM

Anyone have Pic??

God,Country,FORD 04-02-2009 04:04 AM

USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION>> there are TONS of threads with pics that will answer ANY and EVERY question you have, if BY CHANCE they do not, then start a thread.. i think i have seen like 10 tire threads in the last month.. its pointless..

33" on 15x8" 3" body lift

Attachment 165010

31" on 16x8 rims no lift
Attachment 165011

BisketFx4 04-02-2009 05:02 PM

What about a 10" wheels

Mykhael 04-02-2009 05:22 PM

Would look okay

I think it all depends on tire you get also if you have a 15x10 or 16x10 and the tire isn't that wide you get a bubble affect and the tire wears faster

BisketFx4 04-02-2009 05:24 PM

I want the wide look but not the bubble. And no rub
