I don't like the box you have pictured, It is very shallow and it takes up alot of the back window, it's to tall imo.
Where did you get that box? Sounds like a decent price compaired to some others I've looked at.

i think its funny when someone creates an A or B poll, 70% of the people chose B, and the person still goes with A.

;o)

I say yes to a toolbox, but no to that particular one. there are definitely other options that won't break the bank. I got my small, under-the-rail toolbox from kragen for like $75 bucks.

well i went to look at it today and i wasnt impressed at all.

it mounts with somebolts through the bedsides, the top didnt close tight, no key for the lock

i think i'l wait for a low profile one too since its hard enough as it is seeing out that back window backing in a trailer at night, dont need to cut the window in half

i got a brand new UWS box for ~130. It wasnt the low profile one but it is no where near as tall as that one. Those Deltas are really cheap looking.

I'm not a big fan of toolboxes, mostly because of their permanence. If you use you're truck like I do, you'll always wish you had that extra bedspace. I use a simple contico plastic footlocker ($20 or less). It fits under my tonneau cover, and I can pull it outta there anytime I want.

I have mine mounted through the bed with two lock pins. I pull the cotter pin out from underneath the bed and it comes rightout. Takes all but five minutes to remove my chest. It's pretty sturdy when it's pinned on the bed. Doesn't budge at all.

I sprayed the bolts and pins primer black, as well as the holes I have drilled. You wouldn't see the cotter pins underneath unless you knew that they were there.
