I've had a couple. Picked up a used black Husky non low pro and used it for a few months. I liked the space, but the black wasn't the theme i'm going for. And I didn't like the non low profile.

The pics are of my current box. Husky low pro. Picked it up off c-list for about 100 bucks. Was a great deal and functions well. A bit more space would be nice, but I don't haul that much stuff in there.

I just need to be able to fit a gas can, a helmet, and my cheapo/take with me to go riding tools lol. that husky looks nice!

I'm leaning towards the black one i posted just for the little extra space. but i found a kobalt one for $60 but it has the slanted sides so i'd be losing space there :/

Any problems at all with the locks or anything? I found one on craigslist for $60 that's only 2 weeks old!

Haha guy flaked on me so I just went to lowes. They had an "open box" deal on one for $100 and they threw in the mounting hardware(someone bought it and returned for a bigger one the same day) and the guy installed it for free because he was bored lmao. Not a bad deal. Box doesn't seem to heavy duty but for what I need it for should be fine!

Thinking about buying a Delta low profile box, but had a question - Does it come pre-drilled for J hook installation?

Yeah...I know it's an old thread. Thanks.

...found a local Delta dealer. Probably stop by on my day off, in four days, to have a look at one and see what the mounting holes/slots (if they come pre-drilled) look like. Thanks.

Attwoods was having sale today on boxes for $79 and $99 on their bright finish boxes - normally $229 I think. Good deal, but wanted to stay with a black theme so I paid $179 (regular $239) for one with a black finish. Not sure if "Tradesman" brand boxes are any good, but I'm guessing that most boxes with an Attwoods logo are just restickered Tradesman boxes. Had Tradesman labels and catalog info inside lid of box. Looks like this...

Will try and get real photo after install.

Hey does anyone know how compatable boxes are stepside versus fleetside? I'm looking at two boxes today so I'm wondering..

yeah compatibility level is around zero. you could modify a fleetside to fit a steppy or vice versa i'm sure but thats a given.

I have a Challenger toolbox on my truck. Nothing special but I have one question. I find it kind of inconvenient that the box covers up the stock tie down points at the front. I was thinking of moving them back so that the toolbox woulnd't cover them anymore. What is on the back of those bolts and is it something I can reuse or would I need new ones? Or is there an easier/better solution? Thanx

I just finished the trifecta.

I picked up the used, older Weatherguard saddle box shortly after I bought the truck and found two newer-model, used side boxes a couple weeks ago. I removed the WG emblem on the saddle box because I plan to mount a cleat there for hanging gear (packs, etc).

Here mine, short as possible to have more room in the bed and deep as possible to have room for enough tools.
