OK I gotta question for Christian (the Billy Mayes advocate) if you hate your Ranger and are against people buying Rangers and for them buyin other vehicles, then why are you even on www.RANGER-FORUMS.com? It just doesn't make sense...

Ranger or Taco - your choice

I too had it down between the Ranger and the Taco. Ended up getting a slightly used truck (which was greatly in the Ranger's favor), but both are good vehicles. The Taco's interior is much nicer, but IMO, the Ranger has more comfortable seats. The Taco's standard bench seat (all I could find in the standard cab) was horribly uncomfortable.

I was kinda wondering the same thing, I got my ranger in 05 for 7k with 26,000miles. Didn't want a ranger at first but it was a great buy and have loved the truck since. Why do you hate your ranger? And why do you post or hang out here? Whats the point? If you hate your ranger are you looking to make it better?

Same here. Well, going to State Farm tomorrow to see if the truck's even covered for this wreck because I had owned the truck for such a short period of time that they didn't even know I had another truck.

The dealer you bought it from should have gotten your insurance card and your drivers license. Why? Because they turn both of those in to THEIR insurance company so that they can insure you for 30 days.

You need to talk to the dealer. If they don't cover it, then you need to talk to your insurance company, and if they don't cover it, then you need to talk to a lawyer.

I never said I was against other people buying Rangers. I just hate my truck because its a POS that does nothing but cost me money. I'm on Ranger forums because I like the site and over the years I have gained a lot of knowledge about Rangers and I help when I can. Also when I need help I can always search and find the info. Am I supposed to search a Toyota site for answers about a Ranger? Even when I get rid of my Ranger I will be on this site. If you don't like my negative comments about Rangers then don't read them. That goes for everyone.

damn dude, first the ranger do torn to hell, and now the taco? sucks to hear. Last time i saw the ranger it was already in bad shape let alone totalled.

you should have a grace period of switching cars with your insurance company, of for this purpose. not everyone can just buy the vehicle and go straight to an insurance company and have things switched.

Its her insurance that has to pay up. Not yours. She ran the red light!

I just went and took some of the Tacoma, but I can't get any of the Ranger cause it's still sitting at the body shop waiting for us to sign to send it off to the junkyard. And I'm on my sister's laptop and it doesn't have an SD card slot, so i have to go find the cord to hook up the camera.
