Thanks! I'm hoping maybe I can upgrade to a Level II. It would be worth another little bit to get into a LII IMO. Im going to see about getting a flatbed/trailer and taking it back to my grandparent's where I'll have more time to get everything off of it.

Hey Christian I'm trying to call you, but my phone is acting up. Leo said you have his stock wheels somewhere? Think I could get them/buy them from you? Or would a place like firestone sell steelies and spares pretty cheap?

Leo, I really really hope they do. An 03 LII just sounds so tempting!

they need a complete vehicle
if you have after market rims and tires you need at least inflated baldies on rims that fit
if you have Bilsteins you need to hand it over with some leaking Monroes
6 dish head unit - put a casette and AM/FM if that was stock
clear corners and customs tails - amber and 2 color
you get the idea - you can't just strip the aftermarket stuff with out putting something in it's place
now if they work or look right - that is another debate

a level II would be great!! Just not from up north. Up north = rust if you saw under neath my truck you wouldnt want an up north vehicle of any kind. Rust just cost me $500 In new front end parts when i took it in for an allignment.

I threw v6 stangs wheels, that didnt even clear the hubs, they just needed to be able to roll the truck onto the wrecker, you just need rims, and 4 flats..heh

Dang, they seem to be much more affordable up there. And easier to find too. It was impossible to find what I wanted in texas. my baby came from Kansas City, MO.

your truck is 12 years old i would expect that.

mine is almost 3 and it looks brand new under there, no rust, so it all depends, i know i would buy a level II up north if i was from down south.

when we buy vehicals here u just look to see if it started rusting, rust is a part of life, sometimes there is no way around it. it doesnt bother me that much

Screw 'em...take your stuff off and put crappy/old stuff in its place. Intake especially, lol- just go grab a civic intake for $30 and sell the on you have on it now for like $125 (if its AM) :P

Some times the salvage people will just say take whatever you want, they did that to my sister when she totalled her car!

You cant start ripping stuff offa it that is stock on the truck
Insurance only prices it as to how it was bought or can be replaced. I have totalled enough vehicles to know this is true in Mississippi, (+ Mom works for Nationwide Insurance)

Sorry about the news Kyle.

As stated above though, you can't start taking just anything off of the truck without replacing it with stock parts, and they will be really strict on even that. I tried taking more then what they told me I could get and they almost didn't give me the check because of it. It's not a good idea to start taking more than what they okay, they're the ones writing you the check, so just be careful with that. Good luck though man.

I know i probably missed the pics of the wreck but what did it look like. I also know (at least around here in NJ) they will let you buy the truck back from them for what they would get from the junk yard. If they would let you do that you could buy it strip it and sell it back to the junkyard and be able to take anything you wanted off of it with no problems. Just an option you should look in to.
