Well I just got back from Angleton. I took off the WAAG, PIAAs, CB, 6CD, and PA for now. The insurance company said they were going to have it in a salvage yard monday, but that'll happen over my dead body. We're going to hear from the claims adjuster on Monday, and depending on what they have to say, we are either going to tow it back to my uncle's where I can get the lift and wheels off, or if insurance doesnt try to give it to me in the butt over that stuff, I'll just let them have the whole kit and kaboodle. I think it was harder seeing her today, knowing she's gone. Wow, I sound like I've lost my mother or something. I'm starting to look for new trucks though. D that level 2 is awesome! Red I can live with, though I'd prefer black or silver, and auto I can also live with, though I'd prefer stick. Still don't know what I'm getting for my truck, so I guess we'll have to keep waiting and see.

I'm trying to remember the site I used to locate my Ranger. I spent 3 days searching this site, state by state. If I can remember the address I'll PM you, and if I have time this week, maybe I'll do some searching for you andget ya the info. No promises as this week is going to suck *** (2 exams). I will say this, it was a B**CH finding even just an FX4 Off-Road as stick, let alone a Level II.

Speaking of which, damn it Ford, you should be open on weekends, I want my truck back. I hate salve cylinders!

I meant to ask yesterday, but,

are you selling any of the parts? I may be interested, depending on what you may not want to keep. Post a list if that's the case....

Here's to hoping you get another Ranger....and fast...

What kinda stuff are you wanting? I haven't settled with insurance yet so I don't know what I can take or leave yet. Are you looking for anything in particular?

I'll keep looking on the lots here as well. I'm shopping for something myself and have been looking on all sorts of different lots ( dealership ones that is ) . If I see any LVL2's for around 15 grand... Better yet, just post what your specifically looking for and what price range would be your max, and I'm QUITE sure you will have some responces in the forums here.

People don't mind stopping and looking at vehicals if they know someone is looking for one in specific.

The only other responce I could make is to ask anyone posting about a vehical here is that they get a pic or 2 and the dealerships info. Our Gearhead friend here can then call the dealership and inquire/get vin codes and such.

D.

Ideally, a 2003 FX4 Level 2. Black, with manual transmission and manual transfer case. Stock or as close to stock as possible. Mileage is not too big a concern, but probably somewhere around 50k would be alright. Less is better of course. Budget will probably be somewhere in the vicinity of $15k.

Other colors I'd consider: Sonic Blue, Red, or Silver Frost.
Might consider an automatic transmission if the price is right.
I prefer the 02-03 model look, but again, if the price is right, i can probably bring myself to compromise for an 04 style front end.

If any of y'all know of one being sold, or like to look at dealers for trucks, please help me out!

Also, I will be willing to travel if I find the truck I want.

Post up links, pictures, anything y'all find! Thanks a ton.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your truck too man. I've had a few people come forward asking about parts. Depending on what happens, I will pull everything off that I can that people would like. The front end of my truck is in perfect condition minus the passenger side fender. You could easily do a front end conversion.

yeah, find out what salvage yard your truck gets sent to.

someone from houston could go and buy some of the parts off of it, cheap, maybe... and resell em on the site...

or you could.

I haven't ruled it out yet. Insurance still hasn't gotten with us so the truck is still at the dealership.

Shane, the only thing I'd be worried about would be shipping for you. That's alot of stuff to ship a long way.
