Sledgehammer?

Have you gotten in a wreck? I have on one corner and the bed is outta whack. I can see it by the gaps in the tailgate. There are ppl who "pull bodies" for a price, they're collision repair guys. Provide a pic sir!

My tailgate does the same thing but I can open it and move it over and it looks right but it keeps sliding over to one side so theres a gap on one side and none on the other. Ill get a pic soon.

Open tailgate.
Place a length of 2x4 in aft stake pocket on wide gap side.
Pull on top of 2x4 vigorously until gap closes.

A steel digging bar can be substituted for the 2x4, but damage can result if you're not careful....wedge it between some plywood pieces.

Have a helper open and close the tailgate to keep checking the gap. This part gets old without a helper.
