www.awdirect.com towing company supplies and such. Its the only place we buy from.

Generally, the wider the better. Check out your local farm supply stores. Or check online for procomp straps.

This is the one that I would recommand that I sell. If you are looking for a strap without hooks, and a HIGH break point.

I have a few of these, they're 4 inch wide military surplus straps. Pretty much indestructable on regular vehicles. I've used mine to pull out heavy equipment and tractors.
http://www.galleria-e.com/cgi-bin/Co...product/331701 These are my second choice, http://mrproducts.com/index.php?cat=(Auto)%20Misc. http://mrproducts.com/index.php?func...162&cookie=yes A little cheaper and a bit more flexible to handle. Either one are professional grade straps. http://www.Colemans.com It's a real neat place to go to too, it's just outside of Harrisburg, PA. Their inventory is always changing too. |
They ain't cheap, but I'm a big fan of Pro Comp. Never actually used the one I have in my truck, but I've seen some friends of mine using theirs. Pretty much the reason why I choose it.
I went with the 3" x 30' but if you need bigger they offer a 4" x 30' I think, but I would think you better be running with a lot of full size boys to get the 4". ProComp 3" x 30' Tow Strap |
