Diamond tread pedals
I just got done making some diamond tread pedal. There kinda dirty from work with them and all. Why does photobucket screw with my pictures like that. I don't appreciate it. So what ur opinion? Think i should some how finish the edge?

i took the rubber off and gouged the metal of both side really deeply. then cleaned with mineral spirits and used 3M two sided tape. I clamped the metal to pedal and heated and cool them. i figured that the tape would kind of melt into all the cracks and then dry there. the gas petal is all plastic so i will see how good of a bond i will get. i have had the brakes done for a little while now and i have to say that it gives me a better grip on the petals than stock. the diagonal treads catch ur foot when it goes to slide of the edge. i haven't driven with the gas though so i will see how it goes.

^^LOL.
I definately like the idea...but i'd go a step further.....if i were to do that, i'd get them sprayed with bedliner. My feet already kinda slip off the rubber ones when it's snowy or muddy, espicially since i have a manual trans.....so i wouldn't be doing this to mine. But I do appreciate the idea.....as it's a cool one.
