AC not blowing like it should...

Hey guys, got an '09 Ranger, and the ac isn't blowing like it should. The blower motor is working, from low to high there's a definite difference in sound, but hardly any difference in the air coming out the vents.......any ideas??

Thanks,
Jared

I have the same problem with my 03 when on MAX AC I think it is in the switch not pulling vacume on the door below the glove box

There is no difference with AC or MAX AC or the heater for that matter on mine. Thanks, I'll check that out.

Yeah there is no difference in mine when on A/C or MAXAC , Usally on max the door opens and it blows harder or so it seems. I found if I disconnected the vacume line fron control switch there was very lillte vacume coming from tube. when I pulled vacume on switch at intake door with hand pump door would open and MAX AC blew like it should or aleast sounded like it was blowing like it should on MAX AC need to swing by dealership and see what a switch would cost might be a simple fix

Have you checked your ac fuse in the fuse panel? This happened to me when I did my body lift.
everything under the hood was condensing, but hardly any air would blow out of the vents

I have an 2008 Ranger and at about 30k I noticed I had no a/c. The compressor motor was repeatedly clicking on and off like it was low in refrigerant. I took it to the dealers - was a pinhole in the condenser. My son, a couple of years, had the same thing occur on his Explorer: about 30k miles and had a pinhole in the condenser.
