Trailer + 45mph.. whole alot of shaking going on
The other day I picked up a chevy 60's truck bed trailer with the 06 4cyl. Didn't pull to bad but it shook us so bad I thought grandpa was going to have a heartattack. This was at 40-45mph. I read on a f150 section that a shim kit was needed to fix it... Does that apply to our rangers as well? I pulled a tow dolly later but I had no problems but it didn't put any weight on the truck.

how much tongue weight did you have, because a trailer that is not properly load will shake the **** out of your truck like something is wrong with it.

Just the trailer it had nothing in the bed. This same trailer when attached to my grandpa's dakota didn't cause his truck to shake.

I say slap a saddle on it, name is Brute and sell rides on it to the neighbor kids!

Your max tosing on the 4 cyl can't be more then 2k lbs. The shaking is probably the truck quivering in fear from what you are trying to have it do.

:rolling: To the last two. Me and grandpa lost a couple pounds on that trip.. and Fords never quiver in fear maybe chevy's what are you thinking...

what gear did you throw it in?
