Replacement bed cover

Hi,

I'm looking to put a replacement bed cover on my 1999 Ford Ranger, 6 foot bed (no sidestep), but am not sure which cover to order. The cover frame seen in the attached pictures was there from the previous owner so I don't know which cover(s) would fit, there's lots of options! Any help is appreciated, thanks

Dan

I really like this one. TonnoFold Bed Covers : TonnoPro - Model 42-304-A

I have them on both of my trucks and I think they are great because they are don't cost an arm and leg and they fold up and out of the way. Easy to install and they seem to seal really well. Right now they come with a $50 rebate.

Well, i dont know if there is any way to tell which brand you have the pieces for. It looks like a rollup snapless job. If it was me I would just buy a new one like the previous posted mentioned. I have extang trifecta on mine. Ive had it for going on 10 years now.

Thank you both for the follow up. I was hoping to just buy the tarp cover to avoid buying the whole assembly, but maybe best to just save up and buy the whole assembly new.

It actually might be about the same price. I would imagine the tarp part would be the most expensive piece.

Here's a sample of a bunch of replacement tarps available: https://www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Acc...-pc-Tarps.aspx

Something like the one near the top left for about $64, fits Extang cover 14630, may work since it fits a 1999 Ranger with 6 foot bed. Just not sure whether it would fit with the rails on the truck. May have to make a few phone calls.

Well it looks like the cover is made by Cover Craft. Mfr. Part# TY4175WH. I could be wrong but it is the best hit that I have gotten.

Yes I had come to the same conclusion but saw it was an obsolete part also. I'm sure there is an interchangeable cover made by one of the other mfrs, just need to find a good fit. Thanks again for the help.

So I spoke with someone from Covercraft - unfortunately they no longer make the Tonneau covers so they referred me to two other companies, neither of whom makes replacement tarp covers for the system I have. There doesn't appear to be much interchangeability between the various available systems, but at least there's lots of good options out there.

Have a Tonno Pro trifold cover. I purchased it last year from Truck Tonneau Cover|4WO. Have not had any problems with this tonneau. No leaks whatsoever, but I do wish it had some quick release clamps to make it easier to remove.
