So anyone have a triton and how have your plugs been. once you use the re tapping kit are they reliable motors? i like those f150s thats why im asking

Yes,I have done it to a few Police cars with the 4.6L in it. They are holding up good and one has been a few years ago. The cops are not easy on their cars either.

I've done a few on 5.4's. I haven't had an issue.

he has had no problems since.

There is a kit available for roughly $45. It's a steel insert that threads into the head.

If the replacement plugs are installed and tightened correctly, they usually dont blow out. almost all of the tests i have seen with plug blowout is caused by them not being properly torqued
