Troubleshooting Brakes

I have a 2001 ranger and am having hard time troubleshooting whats wrong with my brakes. Whenever i am making a sharp left turn and apply the brakes, they seem to lose pressure and start to chatter. This only happens when i turn sharp left and brake simultaneously, not turning right or general braking going straight. I have checked my brake fluid and it is fine. I also did a quick inspection of the brake lines and found nothing unusual. Any input or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Does the ABS light on the dash come on when it does this? Check the ABS sensor wiring running along the steering knuckle isn't getting pinched or chaffed.

Check and re-check the wheel bearings. If one or both get the least bit sloppy , the distance from the tone ring to the sensor changes. The ABS will pulsate , especially at lower speeds. This will happen without the ABS light coming on.
