ya there is a web site www.ford.com go to rangers and look at the standard options...

in laymans terms a 04 XL is a work truck its bare bones nothing its what you see that company's have vynal seats yadyada usualy white.

04 XLT has chrome bumpers you can get power windows its normally 2wd, has cloth seats and carpet.

Tremor is a package which looked cosmetically to an EDGE BUT the thing about it is it got a Pioneer sound system stock with a sub and amps yadada. also the worst truck to buy it you acully like to replace the head unit and speckers it usualy leads to gutting all the electronics in it and replacing it all which thus you just spent tons of $ to buy a tremor and took out what made it a tremor...

and EDGE is all painted bumpers. if its 2wd or 4wd it comes with the Torsion bar suspension(4x4 suspension) so even the 2wd sit high. they come with vynal floor you can get them fully loaded or bare bones. they are the WORST truck if you want to lower a 2wd it darn near impossible it can be done but pain staking. but its great if you want to lift 2wd or have a nice 4x4 with all painted bumpers and stuff...

that help?

edge is 4wd suspension but not 4wd, so its higher, painted bumpers, has the 3.0l or 4.0l, plastic floor (sportier)

xlt is normally chrome bumpers, can be pretty loaded interior. also there is the xlt 2wd which is coil springs inthe front, can prolly have the 2.3, 3.0, or 4.0, the 4wd has torsion bar suspension like the edge. carpet floor.

tremor has some upgraded pioneer headunit, and i think the speakers are powered by an external amp, the suspension and looks are like an edge.

xl is a strip down model. no chrom bumpers, nothing to special, but i dont kow what they really come with.

read the details on www.ford.com

In addition:

All XLT's FX4's at least 06 on have plastic floors now.

FX4 package gives your XLT fender flares and better Shocks, and a True trac limited slip rear end. Mid and aft skid plates, as well as standard sliding rear window and privacy glass.

FX4 Level II package is all the same things as an FX4 with the addition/Replacement of, Bilstein shocks, torsen limited slip rear end, Front mid and aft skid plates, Chrome tow hooks, Standard bucket seats with special cloth pattern, and on the manual's you get a Chrome shifter with a round Glass shifter ****. FX4 Level II is the most bad a$$ of stock rangers.
