Truck Norris needs some transmission work...

I was driving to school today, and had to pass a semi on the highway. Cars were coming up pretty fast from behind, so I put it to the floor and quickly went by...until is shifted, or that is, didn't shift, and started bouncing off the rev limiter. Then the blinking O/D light of death came on, and started coasting.

Finally got it going again, but have no O/D or torque converter lock up. So looks like this weekend project is grabbing a junk yard transmission and sticking it in. Yay!

YOU ARE CRAZY! CHUCK NORRIS NEVER BREAKS OR IS WRONG IN ANY WAY!!!! FACT!!!!!!

P.S. That sucks dude. I had a similar issue with my old 01 3.0 2wd auto. It just decided it didn't want to shift anymore. I went and bought a new tranny filter/gasket set and some fluid. Took it over to one of our accounts and had them put it all in really quick at it worked just fine after. :-/ lol I can't complain. Was excited it was that easy of a fix. I don't remember if the o/d button came on or not so it might be a bit different. Hopefully someone can answer better than I can. good luck...p.s. Remember Chuck Norris knows all and sees all. He also never looses!!! watch what you say or you might not be around for to long. Just sayin.
