New Tires

Ok.. I'm new here and the whole reason why i got this was to get info on where to get the best tires. It's my boyfriend's birthday soon and he REALLY needs new tires! I mean, they're as bald as all hell!! Anyways, he has a Ranger XL 2wd. He's been wanting to lift it and a whole bunch of other things to it... the size tires he wants are 31x10.50 with 15" rims. Does anybody here recommend a place or somebody that's selling?? I need them new, not like new. I would appreciate it so much y'all! Thanks in advance!...

if he doesnt have a lift yet he can only fit 30x9.5x15 BFGs on it right now, maybe a little bit bigger.

are you buying the lift too?

Work something out with other friends or Family to get him some or all of the lift because now is the perfect time.

you don't want to buy brand new tires and then lift only to need bigger tires.

I'd also recommend the BFG all / terrain's. There are alot of websites like Summit.com or Tirepackage.com That have great prices, but I'd reccomend printing out the best price you can find and taking it around to local shops and see if anyone can match or beat it

Thank y'all so much! Yea, he doesn't have a lift yet... :( But will a 2" lift do the job for 31's? He wants a 2" lift, but i don't know if i can afford one along with the tires. No one else could really help me out getting the lift either. Um... is there a place for cheap lifts? Well, not cheap quality, but price... is that a such thing when dealing with lifts or parts in general?... Sorry about all the questions! I'm just a little handicap when it comes to automotives, lol!

he cant run them spindles. XL 2wd = coils = no torsion bars.

he needs a coil spacer and maybe an AAL or shackles in the rear

no problem. My fiancee bought me my e-fan so I know he'll be a happy camper.

The AAL's or shackles take care of the rear. The coils are for the front

Right. That's why i put a slash between them b/c i'd get one or the other. But i'd be better off with the AAl's than the shackles?
