Hey guys, i just picked up a 98 ranger 4x4. 4.0 pushrod. So far, i have a air filter adapter with an old but just oiled KnN filter off of my old NA mustang combo. My question is, can these engines take boost??? How big are the injectors in these trucks?? I was thinking of throwing a t3/t4 on it. I have two since i switched to twin 76's on my mustang. I can fab up a rear mount kit for it in about 2 hours. No IC, just 6lbs. Will i need to upgrade the injectors, since they look like green tops. Mustang talk means 42 lbhr injectors. Will it be able to take that much boost with just a fuel pump upgrade?? I was thinking about headers/exhaust, pullies, etc. I can do the turbo upgrade from spare 2.5 inch tubing i have in my garage and the turbos i have laying around.
