Sounds like my old Ranger. I had a 1990 Ranger with about 15K in it and saw it about 6 months ago sitting in a junk yard totaled out. Oh well…

judging by the before picture the kid did everybody a service, id also like to see that thing pull on a b16a, b16b, b18c1 c3 or c5, h22a, h23a, f20b, f20c, f22c, k20a2, or a k24a4 and id love to see it spank a c30a, c32a, or a c32b. vtec just kicked in y0

I'm not saying a built vtec. Just stock for stock. I've seen some 500 hp integras here in portland and I know a zx2 couldn't be built up like that.

All I'm saying is it sucks when a car has been taken care of and some dumb kid drives it like a moron

Sad to hear this. It sucks when you have to sell your blood and tears and hurts worse to see the new owner could care less because they just bought it and only have cost and gas into it.

Luckily I have not seen my '83 F250 since I sold it. I have seen one that looks similar to it though.

I also still have my 01 Focus. My 1st new car and also the 1st car I put aftermarket and better than stock factory stuff into. This thread is one of the reason's I don't want to get rid of it. And it also has only 70K on it.

my old k20a3 rsx v-tec would spank the living **** out of my buddys zx2 all day long and laugh in his face about it. it wasnt even a challenge. both cars were 5 speeds too. his was all stock and mine only had a catback exhaust, which didnt do **** for performance

 

I would hope so. Your talking about a 135hp car vs a 200hp car lol.

 

haha seriously wow. i was not saying a stock zx2 vs an rsx....i was referring to a stock civic

PLUS this zx2 had some sct add ons, some of the s/r add ons and a short shift. i only took it to the track once and ran a 12.2

i would say thats pretty decent for a more or less STOCK motor.

IF i ever sell my ranger i seriously want to interview the person buying it just to make sure they know how to care for a vehicle

that was with the s/r add ons and adjustable cam gears, pulley. 93 octane.. and gutted lol. still not to bad for 150 hp

 

My rsx had the k20a3 which is 160hp 5speed. Notthe type s 200hp k20a2. The two cars were very evenly matched and he still had no chance.


And the 2002+ civics had the same engines as the rsx cause they are the same car with different sheet metal. Engine trans suspension and brakes were all the same

 

my girl had a ZX@ and it was garbage. my 93 escort GT ate it all day. i just gotta say ricer.

best in my 93 GT was 15.62 in the quarter with a full cat back exhaust, true C.A.I. plat 4 plugs and a bump in timing. stock was 16.2 in the quarter. no way with those mods you killed almost 2 seconds if not more from a quarter.

 

My aunt had a SWEET puke green 60s Mustang. 302. Sooo clean. Garage kept and like 30k.

Sold it to some kid for $2000 (not ****ting you). He wrecked it in a month.

My mom wanted to buy it but my aunt would have nothing to do with her.
