i have 500lbs of wet frozen solid sand in my bed. He is all stock on the basic continental tires some 2wd rangers come with. I don't know if mine or his is heavier. I do know i have a traction advantage.

Are you chaining up back to back? If so I think neither of you will go anywhere and itll be pretty even thats what usually happens. I chained up once in snow on pavement and drug a Chevy all over the place. He was in 4 lo I was in 4 high and I got to the pavement first with wheel speed and away I went. Never told him I was in hi though. Good luck..

from back in the day. this thread made me think of this. we were sitting in class (Ford ASSET) and this hillbilly is talkin about how tough his lincoln locked (it was a bone stock open diff) ranger could drag me all around. so the teacher stopped class so we could go out and drop strap in the parking lot

The kid was kinda rough yanking me back as i had a snow bank infront. 4LO was usless all my pulls were in 2wd. he used 4HI with and with out traction and 2wd in the beginning. also gives an exhaust sound clip. Some foul language i was also getting pissed the way he was pulling me so i'd have more room
