its super simple. i ran a fused power wire off the battery inside the cab. then from there i went to radio shack and bought two barrier strips (ill get pics ASAP). then i fastened the barrier strips to the interior somewhere outta site. i have one for power and one for ground. then from there u can just tap off each section, run ur switch and ground.

WOW that looks cool. I have been wanting to do the same thing to my wife mustang. I have been having a hard time finding neons these days. At one point the wal mart by me was selling them but I think they have been cranking down on that kind of thing. Even the pepboys by me doesn't have much stuff anymore. I order a couple off the net around xmas but they were on backorder for 2 months so i finally cancelled the order.

not sure why they are the same price...

check out coolerguys.com and svc.com. they are computer accessories stores but sell cathodes...and any cathode that runs off 12V dc will work in a vehicle.

Watch out! The power converters for neons and cold cathodes associated with computers made by cheap companies have been known to fail and cause electrical fires! Definately less damaging in a computer, but in your truck it's a big issue. If I were you I would try to replace them sometime with a reputable quality brand just to make sure. Anyways, that's exactly what I'm doing to my truck sometime soon (with blue too) since it looks sweet and I do a lot of night driving.
