Water leak on passenger foot-well fixed
After months of searching here, online, and YouTube I have finally located where the water is coming from.
First picture shows where I removed the right fender to get access to the drain hole and removed the little cover plate in the engine compartment. I then washed out all the leaf’s, dirt, and other debris from inside the wiper compartment. I was very surprised at how much trash was in there.
Second and third pictures show where I removed the passenger airbag panel, (no airbag on my model). Just pops out using a small flat screw driver.
Shining a light in thru the outside drain hole I could see where the antenna cable was coming thru and that it was not sealed.
I was able to spray some expandable foam to seal. Luckily the tube provided with the can was just long enough to get to the hole, and just to make sure I also sprayed some from the outside being careful not to spray too much and cover up the drain hole.
Hope this and the pictures help.
