Water pump sending unit
The nipple faced down is rustedHello everyone, I'm a newbie to this form.
What part is this,I can't find it any where to buy?it sits right above water pump as shown in the picture above. The nipple faced down is rusted n spraying coolant everywhere. The lower radiator hose is split to this unit. I have read in other places people have blocked that nipple but how? Any info will be a big help. Thanks

Try is part number for the one on the Left: F77Z 18599 AA
That is the ECT(engine coolant temp) sensor screwed into it, it is for the computer not the dash board temp gauge
And as a heads up, if the elbow on the right should break/leak, just cut off the nipple so you can unscrew it, remove it and replace it with a screw in nipple and buy a pre-made hose elbow and connector
