Weight of bed

Weight of bed
Hey Folks,
I have a 2003 Ranger Edge. It has fallen victim to Midwest rust, and one of the issues is that the metal that the spare tire carrier (the reel and cable assembly) is attached to rusted to the point that the tire started falling down. I removed the spare tire, but would like to weld in a replacement steel plate then reattach the reel and cable assembly. Additionally, I need to access the gas tank as there is some kind of restriction that prevents me from fueling without the nozzle shutting off. In order to do this, I need to remove the bed.
Just wondering what the weight of the bed is. Of course, I will remove the tailgate first. If it is light enough for two middle-aged guys to lift off, then I and a buddy of mine can do it; but if is too heavy for us, then we will need to rig up a block-and-tackle.
If anyone in the forum has done this, I would greatly appreciate your input.

That's funny, I posted a reply !
I used three people, mainly for the awkwardness, one on the tailgate end, one on each side by the cab, to remove my Styleside Bed.
Made short work of the Bed Removal.
I called on a couple of neighbors to come and help, right around dinner time, got it done quick, three beers later I was working on the frame.
I think two can do it but I like to be safer than sorry.
I put a Steppie Bed on, I only needed two people to handle the awkwardness of the bed inner sides, the bedside were separate.
Again, I use the extra people to take the load off others and the reduce the chase of damage.

I think two small size bed or one medium bed will lift the weight of two men but on the other hand I am definitely not sure about it, If you urgently need to know once check on Nest Bedding Coupons, here you will find exact measurement of bed size, I hope it will work for you.
