Bad news, it has a 3.0
Also it appears like the caps lock is stuck at that dealership!
I doubt they'd move $3,500 off the asking price, so on to something else.
I'd love to find a 4.0 regular cab 4x4 with a manual transmission- back to searching

THIS TRUCK HAS THE 3.0 V6 AND IT HAS A SNOW WAY PLOW.
LET ME KNOW IF THAT WORKS FOR YOU

Good luck with that. You'll be looking forever. I looked and I finally settled on my truck. It's an automatic. In about a year of searching locally, the internet, and even offering a finders fee to anyone that could locate one, I found ONE reg cab, 4x4, 4.0, manual trans truck and it got sold out from under me. I'd just go with an auto and be done with it. I really wanted a manual transmission but I'm happy with my auto now. No slave cylinder issues. lol

At least 20 of them are for sale now, too bad they are all 500+ miles away from me
Bad news. NONE of those trucks you linked to have the 4.0l SOHC. 2001 was the only year you could get it in a regular cab until they finally made it an option again in '07 or '08 with 4x4 only.

it could have very well been in 4low most of its life, its still a better deal then what i bought. when i bought my ranger it was 10 years old, had about 60,000 miles on it and i paid almost 12K for it. i really didnt think the bank would finance that much for the age (and bluee book value) but they did. even though it was way more than it should have been , it was exactly what i wanted, and the closest thing i could get in new was double the price. i figured id drive it into the ground. im still glad ive got it and btw it is a 4.0 std shift. sure its the o.h.v. but id rather have that 4.0 than the newer o.h.c. and i could never live with a reg cab, ive even thought of buying a reg cab longbed and doing some cut and weld, make my very own supercab longbed!

Uhh....you put a plow blade on the ground when you're done driving. ****, if anything it had LESS weight on the Tbars because of the blade.

How about you find out how much the plow costs.
then take and subtract that from the asking price there is the cost of the truck.
If you want the plow buy the truck take everything off for the plow. then turn around and sell it to someone that doesnt know it was used to plow its whole life... Everybody wins.

When i drove a plow on the Rideau canal we could lift the front end of a 3/4 ton diesel with the blade all the way down, this was until it was properly calibrated to not do this. However I would love to see this little ranger plowing a roof and to see how they got it up and back down.
