I know - wrong section, but i need help today cause i wanna get atleast the top half installed cause its such a nice day.

Of, its a flat roof, I got all the parts, however I got the cieling support box, its got 3 sides, according to the directions, your supposed to install it like this:



the yellow bucket is 'inside the shop' and the shiny piece is outside, however, if I install it in this fashion then the open end of the box is up, not down. In this configuration, the closed part / bottom of the box gives the 'finished' look on the inside.

I got a flange to go over the exterior piece - needs to be cut to size, but heres a ruff idea:



that flange peice would cover the gaping hole/end of the box, the open part...

i think I got this right, the directions arnt too clear, so is this right or no?

Also, what can I use as a seal where the funnel piece fits over the exterior pipe? just roofing cement?

 

when i did mine i started from the woodstove up and all mine had was the circular pipe going thru the roof ,no square thingy. As it went up the pipe was only single wall till it went thru roof, then it looked like the pipe u have coming out of the square dealy. Probably wasnt any help , sorry. an good luck.
