Went to the Track.

Well, I guess i'm a little disappointed. I did have a 12 second mustang GT before, so I'm not used to running so slow.

I managed a best of 16.6 @ 82.56. Keep in mind, this is a purely stock truck, down to the filter. The DA' was over 1700ft because of humidity, so i'm sure I had a least another tenth in that time. I tried with the tailgate down and actually ran slower for some reason, I don't know why.

Had a 2.4 60' as well. I swear, I had to leave on the first amber coming down to get a decent reaction time too, lol. The truck is sooo slow. My friends had a good laugh anyway. Unfortunately, the track shut down early due to rain.

Here is my fastest timeslip numbers:
R/T: .134 (zzZZZzZ)
60': 2.415
330': 6.929
1/8: 10.646
MPH: 65.98
1000': 13.855
1/4: 16.606
MPH: 82.58

Looks like i'll stick to offroading. At least I got some base numbers set now. I can only go faster right? :puppy_dog

Agreed. Theres pleanty of room for inprovement. Sure, you had a 12 second car.. You started with a 13-14second car out of the box.. you made up 2 seconds on an ' already fast ' vehical. Imagine the accomplishment of getting your truck into the 14's.? 2.5-3 second gains and having less to build on to begin with.

That is almost identical to what i ran in my 4x4 4.0 Manual. I think I got one run in the 16.4's, I had to do some tire pressure adjustments to get that. I'm still learning how to drive.

Have you had time to get the Hood QuickLIFTS on?

I have not had time to install the clear corners or hood shocks yet. Between the girlfriend, work, friends, and other piddly ****, I have no time for myself, lol. I'll get them on soon. :D

i ran 16.5 all stock, 17.0 with 3in b/l and 33's. At first a 17.5 my frist time out, as stock, worked it, got it down, then i modded the truck, back to 17.5. I learned that if i Deep stage i can do a bit better with the R/T and 60foot's.

I ran 15.98 on a cool day, I drop rear tire presure 5 psi, which was worth 2 tenths from 16.1

My best was a 17.1 but I had all of my accessories on the truck, I started out at a 17.5 and got better from there. I only ran three times and I am sure that I could have got into the 16s.
