What brand trailer hitch do you have?

I also have the Hidden Hitch receiver. It is the tubular style. It is about as close as you can get to seeing only the square receiver on the newer style Rangers. My 89 STX had more clearance behind the bumper and the Hidden Hitch receiver designed for it did have only the square receiver and chain loops visible.

Just a follow up..
I ordered and installed the Hidden Hitch Model# 70181 for my 2007, i really like it.
It was a perfect fit. I had to nurse it a little bit with a mallet but it fits so well it'll stay on your frame without holding it while you set the hardware in place. All the holes are already there, you just need to put in the 6 bolts and your done.
few notes on the install.
lowering the spare tire about 5 inches, this helped me get my hands into the chassis cavity to hold and push the bolts through the holes.
this might have been specific to my truck but just a heads up... the bolts come with these steel plates that lock them from spinning as you wrench down the nuts. on the drivers side most upper hole, i had to saw off about 1/4 from the steel plate that holds the bolt head. once i cut it down it was able to fit into the corner of the chassis and allow the bolt to properly line up with the hole through the frame to get the nut on.
This hitch fits great, should take you less than 30 minutes to install. No interference with the spare tire.

I have a Reese on mine, it came to me with it installed. I have not used it yet, I did buy a Reese rubber plug to fill the hole. I do not have a trailer of any kind so I have not purchased the ball and bar that slide into the receiver. Maybe some day I will buy a Scamp fiberglass camper trailer.
