Well as the Title states the local Ranger forum in on is going to be shutting down if we cant find a new server. Does anyone know where we could find a server host for a decent price.

1&1 internet. I pay like 40 a year. Great customer service, been with them for about 3 years and never had any down time.

Yes. All you do is backup the site to someones computer and load it onto the new server. Then just get the domain name transferred. The site might be down for a day or so during the transfer though.

Depending on how much the site traffics you could be fine with the smaller package too. The current owner should be able to tell you how much you need.

I pay $6.99 a month thru godaddy for my hosting, but could probably get a better deal if I bought like a year at once!!

In my opinion if somebody CAN'T afford ( $6.99 ) month you shouldn't be hosting anything, I mean really, who the hell can't scrape together just under 7 bucks every 30 days???????????
